Our babies are bred here, born here, raised here. They are handled by us and cared for by us daily. DO NOT buy a piglet from a pet store or a broker. All of our piglets are raised in our home. They are introduced to a litterbox sometimes as early as 3 days old. Most of the time they learn to use it immediately. We take our piglets away from the mother at around a week old and pan feed them. This creates a better "pig to people" bond so when you get your baby you are not taking home a "wild pig". They are all vet checked and tattooed before leaving. 90% of the time shipping is included in the purchase price of the piglet. The only time it isn't is for international shipping. Your new baby will come home with his/her airline approved kennel, vet certificate, and permit numbers for your state.
Due to change in regulations with Continental Airlines, we will no longer be able to ship goodie bags along with our babies.
We do not guarantee adult size of our piglets. Over feeding has alot to do with the large size of most miniature pigs. Some of our adults are as little as 10lbs, while others are topping out at 55lbs. All of our adults are under 15 inches tall at the shoulder. If you feed your pig unhealthy food such as table scraps and dog food once it is older then you are asking for a very unhealthy, obese pig. They must be kept on a special mini pig food diet. They also need limited treats and occasional exercise. We start our baby piglets off on sow milk replacer. Our pigs are not pot bellied pigs. In fact, less than 5% of our bloodlines include miniature pot bellies. We get our unique colors and small size from Juliani pigs as well several other miniature breeds. Pot bellied pigs only come in pink, black and pink and solid black with pink markings while juliani pigs (also called the painted miniature) come in red, red and white, silver, silver and white, spotted, and several other unique color patterns. These pigs are expensive to come by, but we try to keep the prices on our piglets fair. The Juliani pig is the smallest of all miniature pigs measuring an average of 8-12 inches tall and on maturity weighing only 10-25 pounds.
Shipping is almost always included in the price ($189-269 on airfare + taxes and fees, $40 for a new airline approved kennel, and $65-$85 for a complete vet work up (this includes getting a permit # to get the piglet into your state legally). We don't see any point in charging someone $400-$600 extra in shipping, and we've seen alot of breeders do so just to make a little extra on their piglets. We are always here to answer any questions you may have about our pigs. If you see one you are interested in, please send us an email and let us know. We update our website immediately, so if a piglet is listed as available on here, then it is. Piglets listed as "coming soon" are still available, but are too young to leave. We require a $200 deposit to hold any of our baby piglets. You are also welcome to pay them off in payments until they are ready to leave or wait and pay the remainder of the price right before shipping. Deposits are non-refundable, but are transferrable to another piglet of your choice. We do have a waiting list on our piglets, so if you are interested in a particular color or would like to get a piglet out of a future litter, please email us and we will add you to our waiting list. We do not like to post piglets on our website until they are atleast 2-3 weeks old, so we may have something you are looking for, just not posted, so please ask. We operate on a "first come, first served" basis, so if you are planning on purchasing one of our piglets, we suggest placing a deposit so you don't miss out.
